Comfort on the buses
All routes normally use long buses (over 42 feet). Long buses are very “smooth” on the road and provide for a comfortable journey. The length of the bus allows for generous legroom between the seats, which are very comfortable and can recline considerably. All seats have seatbelts, and wearing them is compulsory. Above the seats there is 4-channel music and radio equipment that you can access with headphones. If you do not have your own headphones they may be purchased on the bus. Most of us like a cover when we sleep. Pillows and blankets are to be found in the overhead luggage shelves. The temperature in the bus can be regulated with air conditioning and should therefore be comfortable whether it is warm or cold outside.
Buses to the mountains
During the summer season there are bus services to several of the mountain lodges. Timetables are posted at the bus stations, or contact the tourist information offices or bus companies.
