The municipalities Vågå, Lom and Skjåk offer a variety of cultural experiences . Here you find many well known attractions, but also small secrets worth a visit. At Nordgard Aukrust you are welcome to visit the famous herb garden and the farm shop, where you may buy local products. The Norwegian pixie is working hard at Nissegården Hytter og Aktiviteter under Lomeggen. Hamsunstugu in Garmo is the small house where Knut Hamsun maybe was born 1859 There you can see the
plain circumstances the literature Nobel prize winner came from. The birthplace of another famous lyric poet , Tor Jonsson, is also found in Lom; Stusslegstugu is close to the open air museum (Lom Bygdemuseum) in Presthaugen.
