Museums and Galleries

In Vågå, Lom and Skjåk there are many museums and galleries, presenting both permanent and temporary exhibitions. Every summer Galleri Mathilde in Bøstugu in Skjåk presents a great variety of local art. Local history and heritage are taken care of and exhibited in the regional open air museums in Jtulheimen in Vågåmo and Lom Bygdamuseum in Presthaugen in Lom.
