The viewpoint Vegaskjelet has the form of a lay-by where the road turns towards Leirvassbu lodge in the Sognefjellet mountains.

The viewing point has been placed directly off the car park to rise above the trees and the undergrowth. From this unique platform, you have a view of the 2,000-metre peaks of Skarsnebb and Steinetind and the valley Leirdalen.
