Long travel day? Arriving to Lom and Jotunheimen late? Wheather you are planning your backpacker meals looking for easy meal ideas for the trail or prepearing a gourmet dinner based on local produce, you will find what you need in the grocery stores in the National Park Village of Lom.

There are two supermarkets in the centre of Lom; Kiwi and Extra that provides a selection of fresh produce, delicious fruit and vegetables and all you need of different groceries. At Kiwi there are postal services in the shop. In Bøverdalen, on your way to Sognefjellet, you'll find Coop Marked Bøverdal, a local grocery store.

The grocery stores are open from Monday - Saturday and normally closed on Sundays. As Lom is defined as a tourist destination, the stores are permitted to be open on Sundays between Easter and mid October.

You will find local beer at the grorcery stores, but the Wine Monopoly, a government-owned alcoholic beverage retailer, is the only company allowed to sell beverages containing an alcohol content higher than 4.75% in Norway. There are a Wine Monopoly in the center of Lom.
